During the early part of his career Ashley worked in a city firm where his clients included a national plc house builder for which he was involved in their acquisitions and subsequent estate development and plot sales. From 2003 onwards Ashley worked for a regional law firm continuing his work for the house building industry and specialising in freehold and leasehold and business sales and acquisitions for local businesses and individuals. Outside of work Ashley was a devoted family man, loved cricket, golf and table tennis and was an avid Southampton FC supporter.
Clifton Ingram Managing Partner Tim Read said “I have known Ashley for around 25 years since he was a trainee when we first worked together. He was an enthusiastic and talented solicitor who will be deeply missed by both his colleagues at Clifton Ingram and his clients. A testimony to his professionalism is that throughout his illness, Ashley continued keep in touch with the firm regarding his clients, always interested to hear about developments and impart his knowledge where pertinent. Our deepest sympathy and thoughts are with his wife and family".
