Clifton Ingram Solicitors has once again been given a 'top donating firm' award by the Will Aid scheme as a thank you for helping to raise donations in 2017.
Will Aid is an annual charity fundraising initiative, held each November, during which Clifton Ingram Solicitors draw up basic Wills for new clients participating in the scheme for no charge, asking in return that the Will-maker made a donation to the Will Aid charities.
Anna Rzemieniecka, Community Legacy Manager for the British Red Cross, one of the charities that benefits from the scheme, presented a certificate to Peter McGeown of Clifton Ingram in recognition of the £3,200 the firm raised for Will Aid in 2017.
Since signing up to the Will Aid scheme, Clifton Ingram Solicitors has written over 1,000 Wills for people locally at no charge, helping raise over £76,000 for the Will Aid charities. The charities are ActionAid, AGE UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC, Save the Children UK, Sight Savers, SCIAF (Scotland) and Trocaire (N. Ireland) and has helped raise £20 million for them.
