We are thrilled to announce that, as of 15th July, Daniel York is joining us from another leading law firm where he has been a valuable member since 2014 and Partner for the last 7 years.
Daniel will be bringing extensive experience to an already highly rated Commercial Property team and will primarily be based in our Wokingham office.
This appointment comes at an exciting time of growth for Clifton Ingram, as our partnership is expanding. We are proud to announce that our firm will now boast 13 partners, reflecting our continuous growth and success.

What Will Daniel Bring to the Clifton Ingram Team?
Daniel represents both landlords and tenants in commercial property matters. His expertise includes negotiating and executing new leases, lease renewals, surrenders, assignments, and underletting. His comprehensive understanding of the commercial property landscape ensures that our clients receive excellent service.
Beyond commercial properties, Daniel's expertise extends to the sale and purchase of both commercial and residential properties. His broad experience in these areas allows him to handle a wide range of property transactions with ease and efficiency.
Daniel has a significant track record of acting for lenders in secured lending transactions. He has worked on high-value and complex deals, leading negotiations on multi-million-pound refinances for corporate clients and managing the legal aspects of securing loans over diverse property portfolios.
In addition to his transactional work, Daniel has extensive experience managing leasehold properties. From granting leases to handling assignments and underletting, his comprehensive skill set makes him an asset to our team.

Daniel’s Life Beyond Work
Outside of his professional life, Daniel is passionate about theatre, which is a bit of a family affair, with his wife and 4 children all being involved in local theatre.
Daniel is also an avid cyclist and has participated in several charity rides, including an impressive 250-mile ride to Cornwall in fancy dress.
Plans for Growth and Expansion at Clifton Ingram
In addition to welcoming Daniel, we have also promoted two Senior Associates to the role of Partner recently. We are delighted to share that Emelia Dewar, specialising in Residential Property in Farnham, and Laura Inskip, a key member of our Family Law team based in Wokingham and Farnham, have recently been promoted to Partner. Their dedication and expertise have been instrumental in our firm's progress and client satisfaction.
This year has been significant for our firm, particularly with the acquisition of Sloan Solicitors in Wokingham earlier in the year. This strategic expansion has strengthened our real estate offering, allowing us to better serve our clients' diverse property needs.
