Just Eat’s 200km Bike Ride for Charity

On 4 July, 20 cyclists from Clifton Ingram's client Just Eat, a leading global marketplace for online food delivery, rode via our Wokingham office using it for their first pit stop on a 200 km charity bike ride.

Tim Read, Partner of Clifton Ingram Solicitors said, “Just Eat are a long standing client of Clifton Ingram and we’re happy to help out the team on this intrepid bike ride in aid of such a good cause. We just hope they don’t get ‘two tired’”.

The route takes the cyclist's from Just Eat’s headquarters in London to their offices in Bristol. The team are cycling in aid of FoodCycle, a charity that combines surplus food, community kitchens to create community hubs that provide three course meals to people in need. In doing so, the charity is tackling three prevalent issues in the UK today of food waste, food poverty and social isolation.

The team have smashed their fundraising target and with over £5000 in donations so far. You can donate here https://www.justgiving.com/companyteams/jecycle2019
