On Thursday 20th July 2017, over 20 cyclists from Just Eat, a leading global marketplace for online food delivery, will ride via Clifton Ingram Solicitors in Wokingham for their first pit stop of a 200 km charity bike ride.
The route will see the cyclist's ride from Just Eat’s headquarters in Fleet Place, London to their offices in Bristol.
The team are cycling in aid of FoodCycle, a charity that combines surplus food, community kitchens and enthusiastic volunteers to create community hubs that provide three course meals to people in need. In doing so, the charity is tackling three prevalent issues in the UK today of food waste, food poverty and social isolation.
Tim Read, Partner at Clifton Ingram Solicitors said, “Just Eat are a long standing client of Clifton Ingram and we’re happy to help out the team on this intrepid charity bike ride. The team will be setting off from London at 4.30am and will be arriving at our Broad Street office in Wokingham at about 7.00am, so we hope anyone who sees them enroute gives them an encouraging cheer. Our staff will be waiting for them, bacon butties and energy drinks in hand!”
