Solicitors have Christmas all wrapped up
The wise men and women at Clifton Ingram solicitors, have helped spread Christmas cheer a little early this year by making gift boxes that will be distributed to underprivileged children all around the world.
The partners and staff at Clifton Ingram have used the money they would have spent on Christmas cards to buy lots of gifts, toys and sweets and put them in personalised shoe boxes to be distributed by Smile International, who have been sending presents to disadvantaged children in villages, schools, orphanages and refugee centres since 2001. The Partners also made a separate donation to Smile towards the transportation costs.
The first shipment of over 4000 shoeboxes and aid (including medical equipment) were distributed by Smile International in Kosovo on 4 December 2014. Gift shoe boxes will also be going to children in Hungary, Romania, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Uganda.
Jonathan Davis, Chairman of Clifton Ingram said, “I would like to thank my colleagues who have taken the time and effort to thoughtfully prepare shoe boxes for this fantastic cause and we hope that we’re able to raise a few smiles on the faces of some children this Christmas”.
