Solicitors Leap At Charity Abseil

Partners and staff from Clifton Ingram solicitors will discover whether they have a head for heights on 28 April when they abseil down the 420 feet of The Blade, the tallest building in Reading.

All levels of the firm are represented in the team which consists of Property Partner - Tim Read, Senior Associate - Barry Niven, Legal Secretary - Daisy Randall and Remie Twist, the firm’s 17 year old apprentice.

Tim Read, Partner and Head of Commercial Property at Clifton Ingram, recently acted for Roc Search Limited in completing a lease for their occupation on the 7th floor of The Blade so thought this would be a good way to check out the exterior of the property as well. Said Tim, “We are used to scaling new heights at Clifton Ingram, but not necessarily descending back down them with just the aid of a rope. We’ll try and steel our nerves, enjoy the view, and raise as much money as we can for The Red Cross and people need of help in Berkshire.”
