Alison Gair
Alison has extensive experience in advising both employers and individuals on all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, including TUPE and the employment aspects of corporate transactions, informing and consulting with staff, harmonising terms and conditions and dismissals.
With in-depth experience of employment tribunal claims ranging from unfair dismissal through to discrimination claims, Alison has also assisted clients with claims before the Employment Appeal Tribunal. She also advises on day-to-day strategic issues, disciplinary and grievance situations, employment status issues, settlement agreements, terminations, redundancies and restructures and less contentious employment-related documentation such as contracts of employment and employee handbooks. Alison also has a keen interest in advising organisations on intellectual property matters.
Alison has a Master of Laws degree in Intellectual Property Law and advises on brand protection (trade marks), copyright, confidentiality and other IP issues. She can help you to protect your Intellectual Property and also advise you on the best ways to commercially exploit your Intellectual Property assets.
Alison qualified as a solicitor 2001 and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. She has a Law degree from the University of Sheffield, a Master of Laws Degree in Intellectual Property Law from University College London and she completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice at the College of Law in London.
